1. Data Collection & Handling

We believe in total privacy. We do not require user accounts or email addresses. When you upload PDF files to Try PDF App, they are stored temporarily for the sole purpose of processing your request.

2. Automatic Deletion (The 60-Minute Rule)

Your files are private. Our automated system (Sidekiq) scans our servers every hour to permanently delete all uploaded and processed files. No file remains on our server for more than 60 minutes.

3. Cookies & Tracking

We use only essential cookies for security and session management:

  • Cloudflare: To protect against DDoS attacks and verify human users.
  • Rails Session: To manage your current PDF processing tasks.

We do not use any advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

4. Infrastructure

Our servers are hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH. All data transfers are encrypted via SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) to ensure banking-level security for your documents.
